The aims of this module are to give the participants the necessary basic knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to use basic PFPE and perform safe work at heights, alongside safe and comprehensive basic rescue from heights in a remote wind turbine environment

The aims of this module are to give the participants awareness through theoretical and practical training to encourage positive Manual Handling behavior and perform Manual Handling activities in a safe manner in the wind turbine industry/environment, in accordance with GWO Manual Handling.

The aims of this module are to gain the required level of understanding and awareness of emergency response to fire incidents through theoretical and practical training in fire prevention, make appropriate judgments when evaluating a fire and to efficiently & effectively extinguish a fire by using basic firefighting media.

The aim of this module is to learn to administer safe and effective First Aid in the wind turbine industry/Wind Turbine Generator environment in accordance with GWO First Aid training through theoretical and practical training.

The aim of this BTT Installation Module is to give the Delegates the knowledge and skills to carry out basic installation tasks (supervised by an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and the correct PPE.

The aim of the BTT Mechanical Module is to give the delegates the knowledge and skills to carry out basic mechanical tasks (supervised by an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and the correct PPE.

The aim of the BTT Electrical Module is to give the delegates the knowledge and skills to carry out basic electrical tasks (supervised by an experienced technician) using safe working procedures and the correct PPE.

The aim of the BTT Hydraulic Module is to give the delegates the knowledge and skills to carry out basic hydraulic tasks (supervised by an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and the correct PPE.

This training gives a basic introduction to ITH Smart Tools, safe use and troubleshooting. Certification is valid for 1 year, as the software is being continually developed.

The aims of this course are to give the participants the necessary knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to use SHE Rescue Lift and perform safe and effective rescue from heights in a remote wind turbine environment.

The overall purpose of the course is to provide practical training for the hand tools used in Siemens Gamesa. Through the use of different types of exercises performed individual and/or in small groups the ability to safely and competently inspect, prepare, use and maintain different types of tools are achieved.

The overall purpose of the course is to provide practical training in the Siemens Gamesa Energy Isolations Procedures (EIP) used to perform Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic parts. Through the use of different types of exercises performed individually and/or in small groups the ability to safely and competently work in an environment under LOTO is achieved.

The overall purpose of the course is to provide practical training in cabling techniques and types specific to Siemens Gamesa. Through the use of different types of exercises performed individually and/or in small groups the ability to safely and competently perform different types of cable work using the associated tools are achieved

The purpose of this course is to provide the participant with hands on experience of the procedures for inspecting gearboxes, including identifying different types of damage to teeth and bearings as well as establishing the root cause. Additionally, this course covers oil sampling.

The overall purpose of the course is to provide practical training in bolt tightening and shimming techniques and tools specific to Siemens Gamesa. Through the use of different types of exercises performed individually and/or in small groups the ability to safely and competently perform torquing and tensioning of bolts as well as shimming are achieved.

The aim of GWO’s Slinger Signaller training module is to enable the delegate to support and care for themselves and others while working with slinger signalling in the wind industry by possessing the required knowledge and skills to conduct assigned tasks safely and efficiently.

The aim of this training is to enable the course participants to perform rescue operations, in a WTG nacelle, tower and basement, hub, spinner and inside the blade by using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.

The ART modules shall enable Course Participants to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a WTG, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.
